I found the organization of elephants and big cats first, and then the issue of elephants and big cats. Finally, I found the solutions of the problems.  I found that whatever the species is, all of them have the similar problems. I practiced my skim-reading skills this week because when I was looking for the articles, I need to make sure if this article is what I need. I have to quickly know about the main ideas of the article. 

I read about the problems of elephants in circus and ivory trade. I think the most pressing problem is ivory trade because the poacher kill elephants for ivory. which cause elephants population decline.

Anti poaching, banning live elephant trade, and creating the sanctuary for elephants in captivity are the solutions that i found through my research to the problems. For the Ivory market, Anti poaching and banning live elephant trade are the important solutions. Creating the sanctuary for elephants in captivity help the elephants in circus.

Our group adopted STEP and Panthera Cats organizations. From the website of STEP, we are able to know their work and their projects. I found their researches and protection that they worked for elephants. For the Panthera Cats organization, I learned that how they treat big cats’ flea and their researches about big cats.
